Borgo Tolomei is like a place that wasn’t there before. In an unusual location such as the Sienese hills, the landscape’s contrasts make the atmosphere magical and reveal a secret microcosm.
In order to express these features we tried to graphically represent the architectural style of the village where Pia de’ Tolomei lived, as mentioned by Dante Alighieri in Canto 5th of the Purgatory.
